Tendayi Madzunzu
Tendayi is a PhD Research Student at Leeds Beckett University, and holds a MA in Education-Leeds Beckett University, a PGCE (Post 16)- University of Huddersfield, and Bachelor of Education (Primary Education)-University of Zimbabwe.
Tendayi is a Community Researcher, Trainer, and Connector with 16 years’ experience primary school teaching from Zimbabwe, 2 years in FE college in England. Tendayi has 13 years’ experience in all aspects of community work in various roles (voluntary and paid work),has held several management roles the current role being SAWN’s Trustee member.

Elinah MugwagwaZIWO Treasurer
I am a co-founding member of ZIWO, and current Management Committee member. I am ZIWO treasurer with over 25 years’ experience in the banking sector. Alongside this I have been volunteering since my youth years with different groups and organisations including YMCA, Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN). I have worked in the voluntary sector for over ten years as a Forum Development Worker, co-ordinating forum meetings on immigration issues, and engaging policy makers and workers’ unions organisations and local universities. My hobbies/interests include knitting, sewing etc.
Mercy MuzamhindoZIWO Chairperson
Mercy Muzamhindo is ZIWO’s Chairperson since 2016. Mercy studied nursing at Manchester University, and has 13 years’ experience. Mercy’s motivation is supporting women of all ages to achieve their full potential in work or in the community.
